This is the first report of the Social Care Future Inquiry group, led by people who draw on social care or who support loved ones to do so. The Inquiry heard from over 500 people and it was clear that many people who draw on social care are experiencing life in a form of lockdown.

The report recommends 5 key changes to unlock an equal life for all, so that regardless of age or disability we can all come out of lockdown together.

This initial report will be followed by a further inquiry over the coming months, looking at the findings in more detail and starting to craft the solutions that can make the Social Care Future vision a reality.
